Caitríona is the current 100-mile world record holder and the Irish record holder for the 50km, 100km, and 100-mile distances across both men and women. An Olympic marathoner (London 2012), she is also the reigning European 50km champion and claimed the bronze medal at the 2022 100km World Championships. She is deeply committed to evidence-based training and the optimization of athletic performance.  

Caitríona is VP Aircraft Trading at ACG where she is responsible for originating, negotiating and executing aircraft sale, lease and purchase transactions. With over 20 years of experience in aviation and financial services, she has held senior roles across marketing, risk and tax in Dublin and Hong Kong. Caitríona is a founding member of Propel in Hong Kong, had been awarded Irish ultrarunner of the year in 2019 and 2022 and was shortlisted for the Women of Influence Awards in 2024 in the category of Women Change Maker in Sports.

Caitríona holds a BA Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser.
